September is National Su***de Prevention Month, a dedicated time to raise awareness, share resources, and break the stigma surrounding mental health.

🛑 People experiencing homelessness are roughly 9 to 10 times more likely to die by su***de than the general public.

🛑 Homeless Youth: School-aged children and teenagers without stable housing are 3 to 4 times more likely to attempt su***de than peers who live securely at home.

What an amazing night, the Roane County Alliance put together for the National Night Out! We were honored to be able to participate! A big thank you to the health department for the Red Sand Project! For those who are not familiar, it has to do with human trafficking cases that fall through the cracks!
