Carolina is a small town of over 2300people. Our governing Board consist of a Mayor and five Aldermen. Rockwell has its own Town Police and Fire Department. We currently operate on a staff of 9 full time employees and various part-time and volunteer employees in the Fire and Police Departments. We also have a Town Park centrally located in the Town.

🚨PLOWING OPERATIONS AND ROAD CLOSURES🚨

The Public works department has suspended plowing operations for the evening. Operations will continue tomorrow 2/2

Town hall will be closed on Monday.
Please call (704)856-9872 to report a problem to our public works department.

Gold Hill Ave will be closed between short st and Hambley st due to a major water line break. Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is also aware of a leak on W.Main st and Shinn st as well. Broad st will also remain closed due to poor conditions.

The Town of Rockwell will be picking up real christmas trees during limb pick up for the next few weeks. Please remove all decorations from the trees and place them on the curb parallel to the road.
