Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. I want to say thank you to those currently serving and those who have served. Public Safety is the core component to a thriving community and in Rockwall County we have the absolute best law enforcement group. I’m grateful for their willingness to put it all on the line for all of us.

Proud to attend the swearing in of my friend Judge Keith Wheeler yesterday for Rockwall County Court at Law #1. We are grateful to Keith for stepping up to serve the remainder of Judge Brian Williams’ term after his appointment to the 503rd District Court. Congratulations Judge Wheeler!

Today I am feeling grateful for my family, my friends and this wonderful community of Rockwall County. I am so blessed to live here with so many great people. This community is truly special and it means so much to me to be trusted to help lead it into the future. I hope you are all enjoying the day surrounded by those you love. May God bless you and keep you; may He shine His face upon you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face to you and give you peace.
