“Rockwall has dedicated the larger-than-life patriotic welcome for all who enter the city. The City installed the U.S. flag on I-30 last fall, and the ceremony was originally set for Veteran’s Day weekend, but it was rained out. The 50x80’ flag weighs about 120lbs and sits atop a 190’ flagpole. It has been the source of pride and a lot of buzz for the city, including Mayor Kevin Fowler being interviewed live on Fox News. The response has been overwhelmingly positive from both residents and visitors alike.”
