Marine Corps League - Sgt John 'Jack' Hettchen, Jr. Detachment The League is made up of Marines, FMF Navy Corpsmen and FMF Chaplains who have organized for the purpose of helping both the Corps and the community.

We participate in programs such as Marines Helping Marines, Toys for Tots, Honor Guard functions, College Scholarships, and other benevolent activities. The Marine Corps League is looking for a few good men and women. We would like to invite you our meeting or other gathering of members to give you an introduction to the Sgt John 'Jack' Hettchen Detachment so that you can get a sense of who we are

Please take a moment to sign and share this important petition to honor the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion with a U.S. Forever Stamp.

The 6888th, also known as the “Six Triple Eight,” was the only all-Black, all-female battalion deployed overseas during World War II. Their dedication and service ensured that millions of pieces of mail reached American troops, boosting morale during one of the most challenging times in our nation’s history.

Let’s help give these trailblazing women the recognition they deserve.
