Congratulations to RCF’s Newest Correctional Lieutenants, Christopher Fogle and Danielle Myers!
Lieutenant Fogle began his IDOC career at RCF in 2016 as a Correctional Officer and later advanced to Correctional Sergeant. His specific responsibilities have encompassed:
Leading the maintenance of facility Post Orders
Overseeing Emergency Plans
Managing the inventory and readiness of ballistic vests and body-worn cameras
Previously serving on the department’s Technical Response Team where he also served as an Adjunct Instructor.
Lieutenant Myers joined RCF in 2013 as a Correctional Officer before rising to the position of Correctional Sergeant. Her roles include:
Extradition Officer
Field Training Officer
Disciplinary Hearing Review Officer
Security Threat Group Task Force Member
Urinalysis Program Coordinator
Additionally, Lieutenant Myers serves as an Adjunct Instructor for Restrictive Housing and Sexual Abuse Response Teams, is a graduate of the Women in Leadership Program, and has participated in the facility’s Promoting Positive Professional Culture Committee.
What do these two outstanding professionals share? Both are highly motivated individuals who have dedicated their time and effort to become subject matter experts across a variety of specialized topics and have consistently acted as peer leaders throughout their careers.
