Demi and I are thinking of Will Jawando, his wife, Michele, and their four kids after learning about the heart attack he experienced this weekend. We are relieved that those around him acted quickly and he received great care, and is now on the road to recovery.

We continue to offer our prayers and I look forward to seeing my colleague back at the Montgomery County MD Council soon.

One of my favorite summer traditions: “Star Spangled Barnyard 4-H Parade” Sunday followed by Monday’s Ag Leader’s Lunch to induct the newest member of the Montgomery County Agricultural Hall of Fame at the Montgomery County Fair.

On Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 7-9 p.m., the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual (online only) public hearing to discuss the proposed traffic calming improvements along Pooks Hill Road in Bethesda. The public will have an opportunity to ask questions.
