✅ Montgomery County leaders gathered in Rockville on June 1 to celebrate the signing of four landmark bills aimed at strengthening protections for immigrant residents.

➡️ The measures: The County Values Act, Unmask ICE Act, ICE Out Act, and Vehicle Recovery Act are designed to enhance trust in local government, broaden access to services, and uphold the rights and well-being of immigrant communities across the county.

Community members are invited to attend 4 community listening sessions in June hosted by the Infrastructure Funding Workgroup. The workgroup is seeking community feedback on how to better fund infrastructure, such as schools, transportation and parks.

The listening sessions will be held:
• Monday, June 8, 2-4 p.m., Upcounty Regional Services Center (12900 Middlebrook Rd., Germantown, Md.)
• Wednesday, June 10, 6-8 p.m., East County Regional Services Center (3300 Briggs Chaney Rd., Silver Spring, Md.)
• Tuesday, June 16, 6-8 p.m., Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center (4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda, Md.)

Wishing all Montgomery County residents a Happy Pride Month! The Montgomery County Council strives to achieve equity for all residents, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. The Council will be hosting the annual Pride Month Commemoration on June 16th at the Council Office Building.
