Complete Roof Replacement. This is a multi-phased occupied HVAC renovation of a secure county 12 floor (18' deck to deck) courthouse facility which included the replacement of a four large central custom AHU's, cooling tower, new boilers, pumps, BAS controls, lighting, electrical distribution, concrete, masonry, structural steel, catwalks, rails, ladder, waterproofing and all associated ductwork
and piping in the penthouse. The work includes providing new gas service to the building with a riser to the penthouse to serve new equipment. Throughout four floors of courtrooms we provided new water source heat pumps served by new condenser water risers and replaced all electric duct heaters, installed new BAS controls to all SCU’s, VAV’s, AHU’s, Boilers, Cooling Tower and exhaust fans. We replaced all lighting, exhaust and supply fan controls with occupancy sensors. Major material and equipment both removal and replacement are hoisted by crane and accessing the penthouse through 9' x 16' access holes cut through the concrete roof deck. The entire roof was replaced and new concrete curbs around the perimeter and the roof completely covered with 2x2 concrete pavers.The majority of the work was performed over nights and weekends.
