After 11 months of working here in Maryland to elect Ted Cruz, it all comes down to the final 36 hours. For those of you who have been with us since the beginning to those who joined over the weekend, I want to personally thank you for all you have done. We accomplished a lot this weekend. From phone calls to canvassing there was a major uptick in our numbers on i360. Thank you to those in St Mary's, Anne Arundel, and Frederick who really stepped up with canvassing.
As we come down to the final 36 hours here in Maryland, I want to take a few moments to remind everyone why we fight and why we must finish strong. It is said that it's more about how you finish the race then you started. May each of us finish stronger and fight harder these last 36 hours then at any other point in this campaign.
Ted Cruz has been and will continue fighting to defend the constitution and our freedoms.
Ted Cruz has successfully fought to create a level playing field between big business and the tens of millions of small businesses across Maryland.
Ted Cruz is the only candidate running that will enforce our immigration laws and permanently deport those here illegally.
Ted Cruz understands the balance between government spying and fighting terrorism. He knows the enemy and calls them out by name "radical Islamic terrorist"
Ted Cruz is not afraid to stand up to the radical left and boldly declare that a grown man should NEVER urinate next to my 11 year old daughter.
Ted Cruz is consistent because what he says comes from his core and his part of his conviction not a place of compromise and convenience.
These are just a few of the reasons why we fought over the past 11 months and it's what should drive us to fight even harder these final 36 hours. As Dr. Lee Roberson (Pastor Highland Park Baptist Church) would tell us every day, "Keep the main thing the main thing" and in this case the main thing is Ted's message on Jobs, Freedom, and Security.
In these final hours all I ask is that everyone look past all the noise on the news and focus on the prize.
Victory is ours for the taking but we need everyone of you standing strong with us as we fight for every vote.
From this morning until the polls close on Tuesday, I am asking every leader and every volunteer to get on the phone and get our voters to the poll.
