An estray, black angus-type cow has been reported on the Bison Trail Subdivision, located on County Road #450, in western Edwards County. The cow is branded with a “G” and the number “8”.

The Edwards County Sheriff's Office is now hiring for an Admistrative Assistant.

This is a part time position (28-30 hours a week) with pay starting at $15.30 an hour. Job duties include updating case records, completing case files for prosecution, and making sure all paperwork is turned into the District and County Attorneys Offices.

The Edwards County Sheriff's Office has received numerous complaints regarding juveniles operating ATVs and UTVs throughout Rocksprings.

Operating an unregistered vehicle on public roadways is against the law, and citations will be issued for violations.

At around 4:30 a.m., U.S. Border Patrol was involved in a pursuit that ended at the Valero.

Several subjects bailed out of the vehicle and fled east on foot.

Law Enforcement is currently searching the area.

Grinch arrested for attempting to steal Christmas.

On the morning of December 24, 2025, Edwards County Sheriff's Deputies arrested the Grinch on multiple counts of attempting to steal Christmas.

Estray Livestock Notice #11-29-25:

Three head of cattle have been reported on the Diamond Ranch Subdivision located south of U.S. 41 and approximately one mile west of the Real County line. They are a black, dehorned, crossbreed bull; a red, horned crossbreed cow with a numbered, yellow ear tag in her left ear; and a red, crossbred heifer calf.
