Rockmart Legion Memorial Day Program Monday May 25th

Monday, May 25th the Rockmart Legion will have our Memorial Day Program at the Memorial Park downtown Rockmart at 1:00. If for some reason its raining, we will move it to the Rockmart Legion at 1 Veterans Circle. Please come out and enjoy this wonderful program. Please feel free to share this post.

We are proud to announce that Rockmart is officially the FIRST and ONLY location on the Silver Comet Trail with a SAVE Station, a publicly accessible AED station, now located at the trailhead of the Silver Comet Trail.

This life-saving addition was made possible through a partnership between the City of Rockmart, AdventHealth, and EMS Superstore.

On Saturday, Rethink Rockmart hosted Community Cleanup Day and Rockmart showed up. City employees, council members, community members, Ward 3 residents, and the pastor of Morning Star who took a moment to bring everyone together before we started all came out on their day off for one reason, because we care about this city. We started at the amphitheater and walked all the way to the housing authority, covering every road in between, and picked up a lot of trash along the way. This was the first of many cleanup days to come, and if Saturday proved anything, it is that Rockmart does not wait around for someone else to make things better. We show up, we put in the work, and we take pride in where we live. Rockmart is the best, not because we say it, but because we live it. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this a success. 💛🖤
