Well, we’ve come to an end of another year of serving with the Boaz Ministry. God has blessed so. God has blessed this Ministry with so many souls saved through the Boaz ministry and we only give Him the praise, Phil and I made the decision to sell the property that the Boaz Ministry is on, mainly because he’s 83 this month now and I’m 80. We just felt like it was time to let go of ownership. And I am not gonna say we didn’t think about it, we did. In all of the years we’ve had the Ministry we have never charged a penny rent. It’s been our tithe to God. We just furnished the building free. We owed onthe property as we borrowed on it from time to time. We also owed a balance on our home cause we kept adding on to it. We used the sell of the property to pay off both of those debts and make things easier for our children. Now, when the Lord calls us home they don’t have to worry about selling any of the property or paying off anything. So that was our motive. And God blessed us. We’re not complaining. The thing that we do have to face is that now we have to pay $500 a month to rent, plus itilities. And. of course we had never charged any rent. So I ask you all to just pray about what you could do to help us through this change that we’re gonna go through. You know if many of you gave us a dollar a week, It would go so far. We know that you can’t give much. We don’t expect you to, but we could use the help now. Make this a matter of prayer and ask God if He would have you help us now with this rent. May the Lord bless you and may we see many more souls saved in 2026! We love you all!! The Brays

Boaz Ministry has always been our love! When I was 10 years old, during Christmas Holidays I was sitting on the floor in front of the heater watching our black and white tv. There was a knock at our door. My Mom went to the door. My three brothers were sleeping in. It was a beautiful black headed lady with her arms loaded with bags of groceries. Mother and I were shocked and thrilled at the same time. Then she made more trips for groceries. On the last trip she brought in Christmas gifts for all of us. Sitting in front of our window was a silver Christmas tree. She placed the gifts under our tree. Mother turn the wheel on that made the tree glow! The thing that always stoood out to me was that I don't remember the gifts. Mrs Edna Smith brought Christmas joy to a sad little family! So, the Boaz Ministry was birthed!

Phil and I met a lady this week that has conquered many bad choices. She impressed us. But, she really needs a couch and chair. Call us if you can help with this need.

On the eve of the Primary 2024, I think of all the ‘vote fors’ and “change” words that we see. First of all Our County Commission is a group of 6 individuals who all have to agree for something to happen. No ONE person can change anything. Next, change does not occur quickly, it is work and this current Board of Commissioners take their job very seriously. I am so proud to be the wife of current County Commissioner Ray ‘Slugger’ Carter and ask each of you to take serious the right to vote and vote tomorrow!!!

Our Boaz Ministry has been so blessed with gifts. We have a beautiful sofa and two chairs to match. Two end tables and a beautiful coffee table.
Let’s see, we have a twin bed with mattress and box springs. We have some pictures and two comfortable chairs. There is just one problem. We cannot bring them to you. We have to get them moved before lunch tomorrow, so, get back with us. 706-830-8477.

For as long as I can remember my Mother’s rose bush has given one single rose 2 till 3 times each Summer. My oldest Brother died and for the second year now her rose bush sends up two long stem roses!
