Rocklin Chamber of Commerce Advocacy Success!

Dear Chamber Members,

We are pleased to share that AB 2564 did not advance to the Governor.

The Rocklin Area Chamber and the United Chamber Advocacy Network opposed the bill because its broad language could have made it harder for businesses to offer legitimate discounts to seniors, military, families, etc. while creating new compliance burdens and legal risks.

Thank you to everyone who responded to our newsletter action alert and contacted state legislators. Your voices were heard, and your participation helped contribute to this important advocacy win.

This is a great reminder that when our business community speaks together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for standing with Rocklin businesses and our community. Your support of the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce is what allows us to champion the business community when it comes to advocacy.
