• A one size fits all educational approach does not serve children well. All children deserve access to high quality (world class)

educational choices.

• Parents have the primary responsibility for their children; however it is to everyone’s benefit that parents are fully supported in the formal education of their children. In today’s society educators and parents need to work as partners in the education of children.

• Families have the right to educational choices that best meet the needs of their children.

• Teachers benefit from being able to work in schools that match their educational beliefs and passions, and recognizes them as professionals.

• Schools supported by public funds need to be accountable to taxpayers.
