This week I lost my best friend, Ric Prestel.

For fifteen years he was there — the road trips, MUFON, the ghost hunts, ci**rs on the balcony, and the big questions about UFOs, AI, and everything strange in between. When I was paralyzed and couldn't speak or move for the better part of two years, Ric saved my home and stood in for my sons when I couldn't. He's the reason I fought my way back.
