The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast is a community coalition building a better Brevard through economic development. We do this by offering a variety of services to site selectors and local and incoming businesses and by activating a large and powerful investor base to effect change throughout the county--current investors represent employment numbers in excess of 50,000.

Through our collective experience and relationships, we help businesses get regarded for the growth they bring to our region and link them to resources which facilitate that growth. Thanks to our generous, forward-thinking investors, our services are always complimentary.

Historic launch infrastructure meets next-generation innovation. 🚀👨‍🚀

This latest Spectrum News 13 coverage highlights how Stoke Space is transforming historic Launch Complex 14 into a hub for the future of fully reusable spaceflight. LC-14 is the same site that helped launch America’s first orbital astronaut, John Glenn.

The reactivation of LC-14 is another powerful example of how collaboration across industry, the military, local and state government, education, and economic development partners is helping shape the next era of commercial space.

Spectrum News gets an exclusive tour of Stoke Space’s launch pad.

brings hundreds of our state's most influential economic development leaders, business executives and policymakers together to set the agenda for economic opportunity in the great state of Florida.

And this year, Florida's Space Coast is at the center of the conversation. After an up close & personal tour with Atlantis, we led an all-star aerospace industry panel during the VIP Site Selector Experience at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Global site location consultants heard direct from academia and industry partners on the business-friendly environment, supportive community and available workforce uniquely situated on the Space Coast. The panel discussion, Beyond the Launch Pad: Leading Economic Growth in the New Space Economy, covered aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, workforce, and infrastructure supporting business growth.

We extend our gratitude to our community leaders that offered a warm welcome and an insightful panel. Thank you to Florida Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly, The Astronauts Memorial Foundation President & CEO Thad Altman, Florida Institute of Technology President John Nicklow, Lockheed Martin Director Brian Baluta, The Boeing Company Senior Manager Mike Ferro, and Northrop Grumman Corporation Manager Caitlin Lewis, and our own VP of Business Development Edgar Campa-Palafox.

We also extend our thanks to our hosts, organizers, attendees and our community partners, Florida Economic Development Council, Florida Power & Light, Florida Commerce and the Space Coast Office of Tourism.

Humanity's next chapter happens here, and it's accelerating. 🚀

Built on the success of Artemis II mission, the "top four-fifths" of Artemis III’s moon rocket is already on the move at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. A powerful signal that the next era of human spaceflight is unfolding in real time. 🌕👨‍🚀

Major credit to the teams at The Boeing Company and Amentum for driving the mission moving forward.
