Friends of the Children's Advocacy Center of Brevard Support and encourage the creation of new services and enhance current programs.

3. Bouchard, Esq.

Mission: To raise awareness of child abuse and neglect and raise funds for the Children's Advocacy Center of Brevard, an organization serving abused and neglected children in Brevard County. Purpose

The Friends of the Children's Advocacy Center of Brevard is a volunteer group of individuals, comprised from the community, who are organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to:

1. Secure and maintain a permanent facility from which the multi-agency professionals on-site at the Children's Advocacy Center of Brevard may provide services to abused and neglected children and their non-offending family members.

2. Provide financial support for other operating expenses of the Advocacy Center.

4. Stimulate public awareness of the work of the Children's Advocacy Center of Brevard. The Friends are responsible for attracting financial resources, and for setting policies and establishing procedures to govern their actions, to ensure that the CACB has the required funding resources to succeed in its mission. The Friends will acquire an understanding of the resources required to carry out the CACB's mission, prepare plans for soliciting the private funds needed to carry out that mission, and demonstrate good stewardship of the contributions received by overseeing the disposition of those funds. As Child Abuse Prevention Month comes to a close, our commitment to protecting children continues every day of the year.
Prevention starts with all of us; families, neighbors, educators, professionals, and communities working together to create safe, supportive environments where children can thrive.

Thank you to everyone who used their voice, shared resources, wore blue, and stood with us this month. Let’s keep the momentum going, because every child deserves safety, hope, and healing.

Another year and the initiative continues as I am always honored to stand with our partners at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard, along with members of our Criminal Investigative Services team, as we “plant” Blue and Silver Pinwheels to bring awareness to National Child Abuse Prevention Month!!

April is recognized as “National Child Abuse Prevention Month,” and the pinwheel itself represents the whimsical nature of childhood, that all children deserve, but unfortunately some never get!!

During this time of year, we aim to bring extra awareness and attention to the topic of Child Abuse Prevention, in hopes of helping protect as many children as possible. Our team, alongside the members of the Children’s Advocacy Center, work tirelessly each and every day of the year to keep our most precious of citizens, our children, safe!!

We are honored to have amazing partnerships with the Children's Advocacy Center and others throughout our community who continue to dedicate their lives to protecting innocent children!!

With that, I want to thank all of our team members for everything they do to help keep children in Brevard County safe!! As I always say, it takes a community to protect a community, and protecting our children is everyone's responsibility!!
