Did you know that many car seats are installed incorrectly? A properly installed car seat is one of the best ways to keep your child safe every time you travel.

📍 Brevard County Car Seat Check Stations are available by appointment with a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) who can:
✔️ Check your child's car seat
✔️ Ensure it's installed correctly
✔️ Help you choose the right seat for your child's age and size
✔️ Answer all of your car seat safety questions

Need a car seat? Select locations in Titusville, Rockledge, and Palm Bay offer low-cost car seats for families who qualify (proof of WIC, SNAP, or Medicaid is required; limit one seat per child, per family).

This month, we recognize the importance of raising awareness about the factors that can help give babies the healthiest possible start in life. Simple actions can make a life-changing difference, including:

👶 Practicing safe sleep by placing babies on their backs in their own crib with a firm mattress and no loose blankets or toys.
🤰 Receiving regular prenatal care to help identify and manage health conditions during pregnancy.
💜 Learning the signs of preterm labor and seeking care early.
🤝 Connecting with community resources that provide education, support, and guidance throughout pregnancy and your baby's first year.
