We welcome people who are facing homelessness in Knox, Waldo, and Lincoln counties, providing hope and a path to a brighter future.

How We Do It
Our programs and services include:
•Shelter when possible
•Comprehensive case management
•Housing
•Life skills training and support
•Health and well-being programming
•Aftercare support for families in independence
•Transportation
•Food distribution
•Access to career, education, mental health and health services

Access To Services:
Monday through Friday, 9AM-4PM someone is always available to begin to support and assist homeless families. Just come to the shelter at 169 Old County Road, or call us at 207-593-8151 and we’ll organize to meet you where you are. How We Deliver Our Care

We’re just ONE WEEK away from the Homeworthy Music Festival! Today, we’re highlighting two of the bands joining us at Harbor Park next Friday: Polyjamorous and Copy That!

Polyjamorous is a Midcoast Maine rock band that brings creativity, chemistry, and plenty of improvisation to the stage. With influences including The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, and Phish, they put their own spin on the jam-band tradition.

Copy That brings together Eric Provonsil, Terry Lamar, and brothers Matt and Nate Batty for a mix of vocal harmonies and overlooked classics from across the decades.
Come hear them both live at the Homeworthy Music Festival on Friday, September 11 from 4–7 PM at Harbor Park in Rockland!

Bangor friends! Check out this upcoming event featuring Homeworthy Executive Director, Molly Feeney. On Wednesday, September 2, join us for an intimate evening of conversation and learning: Showing Up for Maine Together, a cocktail reception and conversation about Maine’s challenges to affordability – and efforts to find solutions. All funds raised will benefit both BDN reporting and direct client services at community action agencies statewide.

Maine’s affordability challenges affect all of us. So it makes sense that we talk about it, together.

BDN’s executive editor Dan MacLeod will sit down with executive directors Jess Maurer (Maine Council on Aging) and Molly Feeney (Homeworthy) to discuss what’s working, what’s next, and who inspires them to keep going.

What an incredible show of community support!

Midcoast Community Chorus recently hosted a free community concert celebrating American music, bringing together more than 250 people for an evening of choral music and singing along.

During the concert, donations were collected at the door to benefit Homeworthy, raising more than $1,500. Then, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor who matched those gifts, the total contribution grew to more than $3,000!

These funds will directly support Homeworthy’s work in our community, including the Hospitality House Family Shelter, case management services, and The Landing Place youth programs.

A heartfelt thank you to Ruth Monsell, Zella Walker, Matt Mainster, First Congregational Church of Camden, the anonymous matching donor, and everyone who attended and contributed. We are so grateful for the many ways our community comes together to support our neighbors.
