Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse will be open today for Maine Lighthouse Day! 9-4 PM

We have merch only available at the lighthouse. We expect to sellout by noon! So get on your best hiking 🥾 and head out early!

Up in the lantern room, the cloths are flying and the brass is getting its final polish! Our keepers are busy wiping down the irreplaceable, 19th-century curved glass panes, clearing away years of North Atlantic sea salt. Why? Because tomorrow is Maine Lighthouse Day!

We are opening the tower doors and polished up the lens just for you. Come climb the stairs, take in the breathtaking coastline views, and experience a piece of living history.
