Last week, the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2026 Rockford Region Familiarity Tour, welcoming site selectors from across the country to showcase our assets, our sites, our character, and everything that makes the Rockford region such a great place to work, live, play, and grow.

The goal of any fam tour is to build relationships and showcase the strengths of your region, and we did just that, highlighting our manufacturing powerhouse status, strong workforce attributes, educational institutions, talent pipelines, unmatched utilities and infrastructure, all with plenty of room to grow.
We are so appreciative to our municipal partners and our community partners at Prairie Street Brewing Co., Anderson Japanese Gardens, Rock Valley College, Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD), and the Laurent House by Frank Lloyd Wright for the hospitality. Our guests ended their time here at the Rockford University Business Summit, which is one of the best places to see the energy and collaboration within our region.
