Rockford Elementary Rockford Elementary is a PK-5 Title 1 school in Blount County, Tennessee. Rockford Elementary is identified as a Title I school.

This means that we receive federal funding that ensures our students obtain a high quality education and reach proficiency levels on State academic achievement standards and assessments, as required by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. This is achieved partly by maintaining school, parent, and student accountability. We work very hard to create opportunities for parents to have s

ubstantial and meaningful participation in the education of their children. We recognize that you as parents are their first teachers, and we must work together to help them experience success. Our Staff Believes:
* Education of the student is the shared responsibility of the student, parents, teachers, and community.
* Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs with the potential to learn.
* Students and staff are entitled to a clean, comfortable, safe, distraction free, and physically accessible environment.
* A positive and supportive educational environment promotes mutual respect, self-discipline, and love of learning.
* All students must develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes that will prepare them for the 21st century.
* Administrative policies have been developed to protect and focus on student time on task.
