Info from Spokane County Emergency Management.
"Utility partners are expecting impacts to their systems which may result in wide-spread power outages. Fortunately, temperatures are moderating, so we will not be also be dealing with frigid temperatures. Additional damages to trees, roofs, free-standing structures, etc. are also possible."
Avista and the County will continue to monitor, but please be as ready as you can be!

The Town of Rockford invites residents to attend an upcoming public hearing to learn about the results of a sewer system study conducted by the Town’s engineering firm over the past couple of years.

At this meeting, the engineers will:
Explain the purpose of the sewer study
Share findings from system inspections and capacity analysis
Present potential alternatives for future improvements

Any improvement options discussed could impact Rockford’s sewer system users, so community input is important and encouraged.
Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 6:30PM at the Town Hall

Written comments are welcome and may be submitted to Town Hall prior to the meeting or by Monday, January 26, 2026, 4:00PM.
