Bill is incredibly creative, always smiling, and truly liked by everyone who has the pleasure of knowing him. We are so lucky to have had Bill as part of our team—he has made a lasting impact on all of us.

In honor of Bill and the legacy he’s created at Tillamook County Parks, the V5 site was named after him.

Do you love the smell of fresh coastal air, the sound of crackling campfires, and helping fellow adventurers have an unforgettable stay? This might be your dream gig! 🌅🏕️

🌟 What’s a Park Host?
Our Park Hosts are friendly, knowledgeable volunteers who:
Stay at one of our beautiful county campgrounds
Welcome campers and visitors with a smile
Offer support and information throughout the season
Team up with Parks staff to keep the campground beautiful
You’ll be the go-to friendly face in some of the most scenic spots in Tillamook County — from forested hideaways to ocean-view escapes. 🌲🌊

🌲💪 Huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up for the first Tillamook County Parks Work Party!

This awesome crew spent their day clearing fallen branches around Barview Jetty Campground—and wow did they get it done! Together they hauled out 10 truckloads of branches. 🚚🌿

Because of their hard work, each volunteer earned an Annual Parking Pass as a big thank-you for helping keep our parks beautiful.

Good news if you missed the first one—we’re doing it again!

Fresh ocean air, salty breezes, and sunsets that stop you in your tracks… yes please! 🙌

Stay just minutes from the iconic Cape Kiwanda, explore the scenic beauty of Cape Lookout State Park, or take a peaceful stroll along the shores near Barview Jetty County Campground. Whether you’re into beachcombing, tidepool exploring, hiking coastal trails, or simply relaxing by the campfire under the stars — the Oregon Coast is calling 📞✨

Bring your tent, your RV, your favorite snacks, and your sense of adventure. The waves are crashing, the trails are waiting, and your campsite is ready.

Campfires are currently allowed at all 6 County campgrounds. Fires are permitted within County provided and placed fire rings only. Portable firepits are never permitted. Reservations can be made 6 months in advance. We accept Visa or Mastercard.
