Gabe truly embodies what it means to be a trailblazer—leading with determination, pushing beyond expectations, and inspiring others along the way. Through hard work and dedication, he has set an incredible example by completing dual concurrent coursework and working toward earning his two-year degree in just one year.

He was recognized for this outstanding achievement at the Western Wyoming Awards Banquet, a well-deserved honor for his commitment and success.

The GEAR UP program is all about helping students reach their dreams and unlock their full potential—and Gabe is a perfect example of what that looks like in action.

We want to give a big shout out to two of our GEAR UP students who were the recipient’s of the prestigeous Daniels Fund Award!
Congratulations to Gavin and Alanis on your accomplishment! We are extremely proud of you! Check out what each one said when they found out!

Gavin: When I logged onto Daniel’s fund and saw congratulations I was immediately grateful and in shock. I called my mom and my brother to tell them the good news the second I found out.

Alanis: If I were to say how I felt I would say ecstatic! When I did find out I was overjoyed! I ended up crying a little and just felt like I was on cloud 9.
