๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโœ‚๏ธ Welcome to Rock Springs! โœ‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today, our community celebrated the official ribbon cutting of the new VA clinic, a tremendous investment in the health and well-being of the men and women who have served our country. We are proud to help welcome Rock Springs VA Clinic to our growing network of healthcare providers dedicated to serving Wyoming's veterans. The new facility officially celebrated its opening today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community event for local veterans and families. They are located at 1001 Gateway Boulevard in Rock Springs. You can also get more information on their website: www.va.gov/sheridan-health-care/locations/rock-springs-va-clinic/

At Southwest Counseling Service, we are honored to stand alongside our veteran community. As a reminder, eligible veterans can receive mental health services at our facility with **no out-of-pocket cost**!

Mental health is healthcare, and those who served our nation deserve access to the support they need.

Thank you for your service, and welcome to the neighborhood! โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

This June, take a moment to check in on the men in your life. A simple text, phone call, or conversation can make a bigger difference than you realize.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Ask how they're really doing.
๐Ÿ‘‚ Listen without judgment.
๐Ÿค Remind them they don't have to face life's challenges alone.

Every day, too many men struggle in silence.

Many are taught to be strong, push through, and handle things on their own. But carrying everything alone can come at a cost. Stress, depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma don't make someone weakโ€”they make them human.

Seeking help is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of strength.

If you or someone you care about is struggling, Southwest Counseling is here to help.

You are not alone. Help is available. Hope is real.

๐Ÿฉ Today we celebrated gratitude, leadership, and a new chapter at Southwest Counseling Service.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Melissa Wray-Marchetti for stepping in and stepping up when our organization needed her most. Her leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment helped guide Southwest Counseling Service through an important period of transition, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made on our staff, clients, and community. โค๏ธ

We are also excited to welcome John Grossnickle as our new Executive Director! We look forward to the experience, vision, and passion he brings to Southwest Counseling Service as we continue our mission of providing hope, healing, and support throughout our community.

Thank you, Melissa, for your service and leadership. And welcome, Johnโ€”we're excited for the future ahead! ๐ŸŽ‰

Some days itโ€™s not the โ€œbigโ€ things โ€” itโ€™s one tiny inconvenience at the wrong time and suddenly everything feels overwhelming. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿซ

If youโ€™ve ever felt emotionally one spilled drink, loud noise, or โ€œwhatโ€™s for dinner?โ€ away from losing itโ€ฆ youโ€™re definitely not alone. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ

Mental health matters, even in the little moments. ๐Ÿ’›

Stress kills peace. ๐Ÿ˜”
Fear kills confidence. ๐Ÿซค
Overthinking kills joy. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ
Anger kills clarity. ๐Ÿ’ญ
Isolation kills healing. ๐Ÿ–ค
Shame kills self-worth. ๐Ÿ’”

Now read it right to left. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

Mental health struggles are incredibly common โ€” but too many people never get the help they need because of stigma, cost, or not knowing where to start. ๐Ÿ’™

We want to help change that.

At Southwest Counseling, we offer programs with little to no cost services, as well as sliding scale options for those who qualify. Eligibility isnโ€™t based on income alone โ€” many people may qualify based on diagnoses, life circumstances, recovery needs, veteran status, probation/parole involvement, DFS involvement, and more.

If cost has stopped you from reaching out before, we encourage you to come talk with us. You might be surprised by the support and options available. ๐Ÿค

Breaking barriers to care starts with one conversation.

The life you want may be waiting on the other side of the healing youโ€™ve been avoiding. ๐Ÿ’™

Growth can feel uncomfortable. Facing emotions, asking for help, setting boundaries, or starting therapy isnโ€™t always easy, but avoiding the hard work can keep us stuck. Small steps toward healing can create lasting change.

You donโ€™t have to do it alone.
