..RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 9 PM MDT
MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon Saturday to 9 PM MDT Monday.
the Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities...Unseasonably Warm Temperatures...and
Strong Gusty Winds could cause erratic fire behavior.

* AFFECTED AREA:
In Southwest WY Fire Zones...277...279.
In West Central WY Fire Zone....278.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
In Southwest WY...Sweetwater...Uinta.
In West Central WY...Lincoln...Sublette.

* WIND: West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph Saturday and
Sunday. West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph Monday. Wind
will decrease at night.

* HUMIDITY: As low as 10 percent. Poor to Fair humidity recovery
each night.

* TEMPERATURES: Highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s. Lows in the lower
to upper 30s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

WEDNESDAY EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through
Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities...Unseasonably Warm Temperatures...and
Strong Gusty Winds could cause erratic fire behavior.

* AFFECTED AREA:
In Central WY Fire Zone....289.
In Southwest WY Fire Zones...277...279.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
In Central WY...Fremont...Natrona.
In Southwest WY...Sweetwater...Uinta.
In West Central WY...Lincoln.

* WIND: West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* HUMIDITY: As low as 15 percent.

* TEMPERATURES: Highs in the mid 70s.

..HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 11 PM MDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.

* WHERE...East Sweetwater County, Flaming Gorge, Rock Springs and
Green River, South Lincoln County, and Upper Green River Basin.

* WHEN...From noon to 11 PM MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make travel difficult. Strong
cross-wind gusts on area highways could cause high-profile vehicle
blow-overs.

..WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

Widespread snow has ended, and the Winter Weather Advisory has been
cancelled. However, occasional snow showers are expected to continue
through sunset. This could lead to slick roads and reduced
visibility at times.

..WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THURSDAY TO 5 PM MST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6
inches with locally higher amounts nearing 8 inches for elevations
above 8000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...East Sweetwater County, Flaming Gorge, and Rock Springs
and Green River.

* WHEN...From 11 PM Thursday to 5 PM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes
especially along the I-80 corridor.

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible
across Sweetwater County; West winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts up
to 60 mph possible across southern Lincoln County.

* WHERE...East Sweetwater County, Flaming Gorge, Rock Springs and
Green River, and South Lincoln County.

* WHEN...From 8 AM MST Wednesday morning through 5 PM MST Wednesday
evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds are expected to occur in
an area roughly from Green River and Rock Springs to Point of
Rocks, including I-80.
