Get your Halloween costume ready! The Young, Exuberant, Spectrumites (YES!) support group is the Young Adult Social support group for young adults with autism. The group will have a Halloween Party on Friday, October 5 starting promptly at 6:30pm. A magician will be performing at 6:30, so come about 6:15!!!!

Please wear your costume, bring your favorite soft drink, and a snack to share.

PLEASE RSVP!! We will be meeting at a private residence, so contact Terry to RSVP and get specific location information.

The Quad City Sled Hockey Association fall session starts on Sunday, September 30! Register for the fall session and with USA Hockey. If registering online, print two copies of your USA Hockey receipt and bring one copy to sled hockey on Sunday.

Save the dates! The Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency is offering free seminars on setting up an Individualized Education Program (IEP) binder for your student(s). The IEP binder is a great way to keep information organized, be prepared for IEP meetings, and staying up to date with your child's progress. The binder helps you communicate and collaborate with your child's teachers and the IEP team. Putnam museum, with support from the Autism Society of the Quad Cities, is showing the Disney/Pixar animated feature film, The Good Dinosaur" on their IMAX on Sunday, August 12, at 4PM, with sensory-friendly accomodations for guests on the autism spectrum. See flyer. Cost is $10 for youth, $13 for adults.
