Yesterday, our team had the pleasure of meeting with Kevin and Tanner from the River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club to accept a generous $9,000 grant award to go towards our 2026 Charity Care program.

Last year, we provided over 1,200 days of care for uninsured and underinsured patients through the Charity Care program - all thanks to the generosity of our community! Support from community partners allows us to continue providing compassionate care to our patients - regardless of their ability to pay.

Welcome to HCC Thrifting Thursday 🫠

This week, be prepared for hot temps and high humidity! Take a break from the heat inside our air conditioned store and browse all sorts of new and gently used items. As always, we have great selections of comfooand stylish furniture, a comprehensive kids section, tons of puzzle and knickknacks, clothing for people of all ages, and so much more!

Whether it be a health diagnosis, retirement, a child going off to college, or moving away, many of us experience grief before the loss. This type of grief is called anticipatory grief and can feel as overwhelming as the grief felt after the loss. Join us next week to learn about and talk through ways to cope with anticipatory grief.

We invite you to join our monthly grief support group TONIGHT, a safe and welcoming space for individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

When: Second Monday of each month, from 6-7pm

Cost: Free (No registration required)

Our group provides a supportive environment where you can:
Share your feelings and experiences with others who understand.
Gain coping skills and strategies for navigating grief.
Find comfort and connection in a community of support.

Remember, you are not alone.
We are here to support you on your grief journey.
Please note that this workshop is a safe and confidential space. All participants are encouraged to share openly and honestly, but are not required to do so.
