🎓 Growing Future Educators!

Today, Rock Hill Schools and Winthrop University celebrated the launch of the Education Dual Credit Pathway, creating an exciting opportunity for students interested in becoming educators.

Nine students make up the pilot cohort and will have the opportunity to earn college credit and explore a future career in education while still in high school.

We are proud to partner with Winthrop University to build a strong pipeline of future educators who may one day return to our classrooms! 💙

Our latest edition of The Insider was created and shared with Rock Hill Schools staff, but after watching it, we decided it was just too good not to share with everyone!

There’s nothing quite like seeing the life return to our schools. The energy, excitement and, of course, our incredible staff are back, and we’re ready for another great year! Congratulations to the Dutchman Creek Middle School Chorus on an outstanding showing at Music in the Parks! Our students brought home FOUR incredible honors:

🏆 Superior Rating — the highest possible rating
🥇 1st Place — Treble Choir AA Division
🏆 Best Overall Choir — Jr. High/Middle School Choral Division
⭐ Esprit de Corps Award — recognizing exceptional leadership, behavior, participation and unity throughout the entire day!

We are so proud of these talented students and their commitment to excellence both on and off the stage. Fine arts are thriving in Rock Hill Schools! We encourage our community to attend a concert, performance, exhibit or production and experience the incredible talent of our students across the district.
