Finalizing class lists is serious business! A huge shoutout to this team of teachers for spending over two hours putting the finishing touches on our rosters for next school year. Don’t forget to upload your proof of residence to Final Forms as soon as possible so you’ll be able to find out your child’s teacher when assignments are released on the PowerSchool Parent Portal in mid-July. Reach out to Mrs. Schneider or Dr. Slagle for help.

Friday may have been the last day of school, but we are already planning for next school year! Mark your calendars for Open House on Thursday, July 30, between 4:00 and 6:00. This will be a drop-in event where families will be able to meet their child's teacher, drop off school supplies for the year, learn more about our school, and hear from various clubs and organizations that will serve our students. Please know that specific information about supply lists and teacher assignments will be shared in the coming weeks.

What a FUN day at Lesslie Elementary as we continue celebrating the end of an amazing school year! ☀️🎉

Today was filled with so many special moments, including Kindergarten Graduation and some awards days.

Our 5th graders also enjoyed celebrating with an end-of-the-year cookout and water slide day full of laughter, memories, and fun with friends. It has been such a joyful way to wrap up the school year and celebrate all of the accomplishments of our students.

We love seeing our Hornets making memories together as summer gets closer! 🌞🍉

We are having so much fun celebrating the end of an amazing school year! ☀️🎉

Our 4th graders enjoyed a special picnic filled with laughter, friendship, and memories as we wrap up another fantastic year at Lesslie Elementary. 💛🐝

It’s hard to believe how much these students have grown, learned, and accomplished this year. We are so proud of each and every one of them and hope they enjoy every minute of their well-deserved summer break! 🌞🍉

Today was such a special day at Lesslie Elementary as we welcomed back former Hornets who are now graduating! 🎓💛

Our halls were filled with smiles, cheers, hugs, and happy tears as these graduates walked through the place where so many of their memories began. Following behind them were our fifth graders, preparing to spread their wings and begin their next chapter as they leave Lesslie Elementary.

It was a beautiful reminder that once a Hornet, always a Hornet. 🐝 We are so proud of all of our graduates and can’t wait to see the amazing things our fifth graders will accomplish in the years ahead!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 and to our rising middle schoolers! 🎉

Today was such a special day at Lesslie Elementary as we welcomed back former Hornets who are now graduating! 🎓💛

Our halls were filled with smiles, cheers, hugs, and happy tears as these graduates walked through the place where so many of their memories began. Following behind them were our fifth graders, preparing to spread their wings and begin their next chapter as they leave Lesslie Elementary.

🎉🐝 We welcomed the Class of 2039 to Lesslie Elementary during our inaugural Kindergarten Signing Night! ✏️📚💛

Families enjoyed dinner thanks to generous donations from the Couick Family and The Foundation for Rock Hill Schools 🍽️💙 After eating and mingling, families verified enrollment for the fall with Mrs. Schneider, heard from Dr. Slagle, and participated in a brief Q&A session.

Meanwhile, our future Hornets had fun playing outside while their adults attended three helpful sessions focused on behavior, literacy, and math led by our amazing kindergarten teachers 📝📖➕ We were able to calm nerves, answer questions, and help families feel confident and excited for the year ahead! 😊

The evening ended with students officially signing on the dotted line ✍️ and receiving their swag bags 🎁🐝 We proved that signing nights aren’t just for athletes and seniors anymore!

As of tonight, our newest Hornets officially kicked off their educational journey by committing to Lesslie Elementary for the fall! ❤️🖤
