The Catawba Nation is is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Biological Field Technician. This is a full-time position funded through the America the Beautiful Challenge (ATBC). The Biological Field Technician will work under the general supervision of the Department’s Wildlife & Habitat Stewardship Program Manager and will support field-based conservation and restoration activities across Tribal lands.

River Ramble for Recovery!

September 19th | 10 AM - 4PM

The Catawba Nation Division of Health and Human Services invites you to the 7th Annual Catawba River Ramble for Recovery, a kayak race dedicated to raising awareness about substance use disorder and honoring those reclaiming their lives through recovery.

Funds raised will support the Healing Village Project, which provides transitional housing and recovery support services for individuals returning home from treatment. Because recovery starts with hope, and hope starts with having a safe place to call home.

For nearly five years, Courtney has been a dedicated member of our team, bringing passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm to everything she does. A true lover of wildlife and the natural world, she's always ready to share fascinating facts about our region's plants and animals and turn everyday moments into opportunities to learn.

Courtney has played a vital role in advancing many of our conservation efforts, including expanding our rivercane growing operations, supporting aquaponics horticulture, conducting endangered species surveys, rehabilitating and transplanting spider lilies, and so much more.
