On the date of May 12, 2026 at approx. 7:00 a.m., the Rock Falls Water Department will be closing the West bound lanes on Dixon Ave from 1st Ave to Ave A to disconnect a water service line under Dixon Ave that is no longer being used. we expect this roadway to be opened back up for traffic flow by May 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Utility Office at 815-622-1115. The East 2nd Street Bridge will be closed for construction starting April 13, 2026. Work will take place Monday–Friday and is estimated to last 40 working days.
