Yesterday and today, members of the University of Rochester Department of Public Safety were on hand to assist with welcoming our newest students to campus during First Year Student Move In!
Our officers were out on patrol throughout the move-in process, helping ensure a safe and welcoming environment while assisting students and families in getting where they needed to be. Associate Vice President and Chief of Public Safety Quchee Collins also joined in, lending a helping hand and assisting students with their move-in!
We are proud to welcome all of our first-year students to the University of Rochester community. We hope you have a safe, successful, and memorable year ahead!

Yesterday, the University of Rochester Department of Public Safety attended the Campus Resource Fair to welcome back our Graduate House Advisors (GHAs), Resident Advisors (RAs), First-Year Fellows (FYFs), and D’Lions!

Our team had the opportunity to share important safety information and advice, answer questions, and connect with these student leaders as they prepare to welcome students back to campus next week.

Last night, the University of Rochester Department of Public Safety was proud to participate in National Night Out alongside the Upper Mount Hope Neighborhood Association.

Thank you to the Upper Mount Hope Neighborhood Association for inviting us to be part of this outstanding community event! It was a great evening connecting with residents, building relationships, and celebrating the partnerships that help keep our neighborhoods safe and strong.

We were honored to join members of the community, the Rochester Police Department, and the Rochester Fire Department in promoting public safety, community engagement, and neighborhood unity.
