As we approach the long weekend, let's take a moment to remember and honor those who have served our country. Join us on Monday for our Memorial Day Service. It's a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. We'll be holding the service on the front lawn of the Gates Town Hall, starting at 9:00 AM.

THIS SATURDAY! 2-4pm. Free basketballs and food from Walmart! A chance to win prizes! Should be a great afternoon at the park! 🏀

We’ve got a new event coming up next Saturday! All things basketball! Pickup games. Three point and free throw contests. Some of our Gates Police officers will be there, along with a few of our Recreation staff. Come on out and have some fun with us!

Walmart is providing hot dogs and other refreshments. Gates Chili Community Connections is giving out prizes for the winners of the contests.

We also have our new playground (completed in 2025) and picnic area (will be finished by next weekend) to check out.

It should be a great afternoon at the park!

Only a few more days left for current families to secure their spot for next school year.... and for new families to sign up for our lottery for the remaining spots.

Registration will close off at 5:00pm Friday. The lottery will take place on Monday and families will be notified afterwards.

Registration for our Before & After school program is now open. Go to gatesrec.org and you’ll find GAP in the program section under childcare.

Current families: Register for the option you need (Before Only, After Only or both). Add to your cart and pay the $25 non refundable deposit, per child.
THIS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BY FRIDAY APRIL 10th OR YOU WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SPOT FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR.

New families: Register for the “GAP Lottery”. Answer the questions that pop up and “checkout” to submit your registration. No payment is due at this time. This needs to be completed by Friday April 10th. The lottery will take place on Monday April 13 and all participants will be notified of the outcome.
