Fulton County Community Center and Council On Aging This group was created for friends of the Fulton County Community Center and Council on Aging in Rochester, Indiana.

Here at the Council on Aging, we believe in providing programs and services that enable persons 55 and older to maintain an independent and invigorating lifestyle. Through our activities and services, we strive to add life enrichment to the citizens of Fulton County. Our agency provides daily activities, meals, and exercise classes, most at little or no charge. We also offer day and week-long trip

s, art lessons, cards, BINGO, movie days, chair volleyball, storytellers and Round Table Breakfasts. Our monthly activities also include informational speakers, and various health clinics including hearing care. Seniors or family members can find support and resources through our office that involve solutions for short and long term care, dementia and Alzheimer support, Medicaid and Medicare support, or resources and suggestions for helping them make natural transitions during the aging process. The Council on Aging also has a supply of walkers, wheelchairs, canes and crutches that may be loaned out for trial periods. Fulton County Transpo is also operated by the Council on Aging and provides public transportation to anyone in Fulton County, regardless of age.

May 6th, 2022. The Center will be dedicating the dining room in the name of former Executive Director, Terry Moore.

This dedication will be at 12:30 pm in the Community Center dining room.

WE WILL BE OPEN 7A.M. - 5P.M. MON-FRI
TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT ARE NEEDING TRANSPORTATION. TICKETS ARE STILL $20 FOR CITY
$40 FOR COUNTY.

WOW! The storytelling has been so popular we are having storytelling on Mon, Wed, and Fri at about 11:40. Get in on the current story before it's too late! You don't have to have any other reason to come in, just stop and listen. Everyone is welcome. It only takes about 30 minutes of your time. Join us!
