Attention Boaters...... Get ready for Beaver County Boom this Saturday night!!!!!!!

Fireworks are scheduled to illuminate the sky from the confluence of the Beaver & Ohio Rivers and rain down from the Rochester - Monaca Bridge stating at 945PM.

In compliance with US Coast Guard Safety Requirements, area Fire Departments will be closing the rivers to all river traffic by 930pm (locations shown in red). The rivers will remain closed until the Fire Works Safety Team gives the "All Clear". For your safety and ours, please be patient after the show ends.

The Skydivers are once again lined up to jump around 8pm. Our Safety Boats will be in the area to retrieve the Skydivers and return them to shore. If you see us in operation, please give us room to work.

Most importantly, we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend!!!

This weekend, members of the RFD participated in the 2nd Annual Bill Voegler Memorial Training Exercise at the Butler County Community College Public Safety Training Facility.

Over 12 continuous hours, firefighters trained together in realistic, hands-on scenarios including live fire operations, vehicle rescue and extrication, EMS, and technical rescue.

This outstanding event honors Bill Voegler's legacy of service, mentorship, and dedication to training while strengthening the partnerships that help keep our communities safe.

We are proud of our members for their commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Training like this ensures we remain prepared to answer the call whenever our community needs us.

Thank you to the Unionville Volunteer Fire Company and all instructors, organizers, and participants who made this event a success!
