Tomorrow is our first Roundtable of the new year! We've got several folks working hard to make Roundtables more engaging and informative for all units.

Corky Kelsey from the Monroe County Division of Pure Waters will join us at the Roundtable to share opportunities for your unit to learn how this program works to reduce pollution in local bodies of water. https://www.monroecounty.gov/des-purewaters

We will also have a District Committee & Commissioners meeting at 6:00pm, just before Roundtable. This is open to all who would like to share their ideas on how to improve our District operations!

The Council Kickoff is chock full of information to plan and support an amazing program year for your Scouts. Breakout sessions are available for Cub Scout Leaders, Scouts BSA Leaders, Venture Crew and Exploring Post Leaders, and Product Sale unit leaders ensuring your unit will be poised for growth and fun in your program! The Kickoff also features a grand midway featuring dozens of council programs and committees providing a convenient and timely way to take away lots of useful information to enhance your program. Recruitment supplies, Product Sale supplies, and more will be available at the midway.

Congratulations to Blaise Weidmann of BSA Troop 31, Rochester, New York for receiving this year’s Langie Scholarship! This award recognizes an Eagle Scout in Seneca Waterways Council who has demonstrated dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to the values of Scouting.
