"TRAUMA LANES" this year's addition to Back to Basics: A Trauma Workshop!

🩸Simulations create realistic emergency scenarios that allow providers to practice critical skills, decision-making, communication, and teamwork in a safe learning environment before encountering actual emergencies.

Simulation training helps EMS providers develop confidence when responding to high-stress situations such as cardiac arrests, traumatic injuries, pediatric emergencies, and mass casualty incidents.

By simulating realistic patient encounters, observer/controllers can create the stress of a real call without the patient care being compromised, because there is no real patient, only simulation. This allows the providers to hone their fine motro skills and control their own internal responses to the scene.

A HUGE, GINORMOUS thank you to the Eyota Volunteer Ambulance crew members, friends, and family!

Their team spent two days not only covering call in Eyota, preparing/executing the Aviation MCI event, rotating attendees to Back To Basics 2026, presenting, moulage duties, and assisting with other events!

We are forever grateful.

Thank you to the Party Planning Committee, Presenters, Volunteers, and most importantly the Attendees. This was all for you, to become better, refine your skills, learn something new and bring it to your people......
