Happy Friday Rochester Rainbow Union friends and family!

The Lilac Library will be closed this Sunday in observance of Labor Day, however Spotted Rabbit Studio will still host their Sunday Q***r Art Club from 2-4 pm. Join their art therapy interns as they paint rocks in creative community with each other!

We still have Lake Ontario Pride merch for sale! Use the QR code or the link in the flyer and purchase your very own rainbow Lake Ontario tee, shirt, or hoodie in a range of exclusive sizes!

We have a location for our 9/15 Community Council. We’ll meet at Five Star Bank’s community room at Westfall Road. We already have about 30 people representing dozens of LGBTQ+ organizations to share information/resources, collaborate, respond to the needs of Q***r Rochester, and support our local community!

This weekend we’ll table at Trans Pride at the International Plaza from 1-7 pm. We’re honored to be part of the first event of its kind in Rochester! Show up, support our Trans siblings, and say hi to our volunteers!

Finally, as a board update, we’ll be holding a board retreat for some organizational planning in October.

This Saturday we’re grateful to have a group of Brockport students volunteering their time for a deep-clean of our community center. Because of the cleaning, The Repair Shop will meet at Rainbow Seniors Roc.
