Shannon DeHeve is a former probation client with Dodge & Olmsted (D&O) Community Corrections, where she received support from her probation officer, Jenna McMillan, and connected services including treatment for co occurring disorders, long term sober living, outpatient care, and mental health resources. After experiencing homelessness, addiction, and multiple felony charges, Shannon credits McMillan and D&O Community Corrections for helping her rebuild trust in the system and begin her recovery. Today, she’s pursuing studies in the field of corrections to give back to the same system that helped change her life.
