Silver Lake Pool's opening has been delayed to June 9 due to weather and final inspection requirements. Keep an eye on Rochester Park & Recreation page for updates!

Due to forecasted weather conditions and a final inspection taking place today, the newly improved Silver Lake Pool is now expected to open on Tuesday, June 9.

Thank you for your patience as we complete these final steps and prepare the facility for a safe and enjoyable summer season.

Open daily from Noon–8 p.m. through late August.

Beginning June 8, the intersection of 14th Ave SW and 2nd St SW will be closed for two weeks. During this time, public access to Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus's Mary Brigh entrance and Emergency Department will be available from the south.

To support morning traffic flow, 14th Ave SW will operate as a one-way northbound route from 5–9 a.m. on weekdays with two northbound lanes. Exiting traffic will use Peace Garden Drive. Traffic control officers and flaggers will be stationed at key intersections to assist.

Eastbound traffic on 2nd St SW will be detoured to Hwy 52 West Frontage Road, then to 6th St SW, and northbound on 14th Ave SW.

Access to your favorite restaurants, shops and hotels remains open while construction is underway on 2nd Street SW. Use neighborhood streets to the north for easy entry and remember that business parking behind these properties is available from 1 Street NW.
