On Saturday Jan. 18th, AMEEN'S Executive Director Rex Nazarko spoke at the CAIR Michigan Youth Symposium 2025 on the topic Civic Engagement from an Islamic Framework and Perspective.

He engaged with students and youth in providing insights into how one can and should be active in the political spheres of their society, while retaining the authenticity of their faith, and using their Islam as a strength in the field.

Thank you for providing a platform to discuss topics which strengthen the identity of our community, and help to cultivate a culture of authenticity in civic engagement.
