Avondale Youth Assistance

On August 20th, Avondale Youth Assistance welcomed students and families to our annual Back-to-School event! Students received backpacks filled with school supplies, along with new clothing and personal care items to help them head into the new school year feeling prepared and confident. 🎒📚✏️

A lot goes into making this event happen, from shopping to organizing, to packing bags and setting up, and we are so grateful to our Board members, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who gave their time and support to make it possible. ❤️

Most importantly, thank you to the families who joined us! We loved spending the evening with you, and hope that all of our Avondale students and families have a wonderful 2026/2027 school year!🍎

What a wonderful evening celebrating the amazing students recognized at our 2026 Student Recognition Award Ceremony on Wednesday, March 25th. We are so grateful to the dignitaries, families, school staff, and Board members who joined us in honoring these outstanding youth and their accomplishments.
