We are incredibly grateful for the lasting impact Cal Jacobs has made on Rochelle and the surrounding communities. Through his servant leadership, compassion, and dedication to helping others, Cal has touched countless lives over the years.

As a past President of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation, a valued fund holder, and collaborator of the Rochelle Food Hunger Challenge Field of Interest Fund, Cal has continually worked to ensure families in our community have support during times of need. His volunteerism with the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry, the Rochelle Free Summer Lunch Program, and the recovery efforts following the 2015 EF4 tornado speaks volumes about his heart for service and his commitment to making Rochelle stronger.

Thank you to the for sharing this special recognition of the “Stoney” Stonebreaker Police and Fire Memorial Fund.

Designated funds are truly unique because they provide annual support in perpetuity, allowing organizations to use the funds where they are needed most. We are proud to see this gift continue making an impact for the dedicated firefighters and first responders who serve our community each and every day.

We are a proud supporter of the Rochelle Flagg Township Museum! Thank you Jan and team for all that you do to preserve all the history of our community.

This week we got to enjoy a presentation from Rochelle Flagg Township Museum! Jan did a great job discussing the mission and vision of the museum volunteers! She gave an overview of their fundraising events coming up. These great t shirts are a current fundraising project for them. Make sure to grab one!

An added bonus for the members in attendance was the insight she had into Rotary history in our community.

Have you stopped in to our local museum? If not you should. They are open Thursday- Sunday and you will definitely have so many take aways about Rochelle history after your visit!

Remember Rotary always welcomes visitors! The club meets every Tuesday at noon at Luna.

We are incredibly grateful to see the impact of the “Stoney” Stonebreaker Police and Fire Memorial Fund continue to support our first responders right here in our community. These funds will be used to support officer and staff wellness.

Designated funds are truly unique and special because they provide an unrestricted gift to the organization every single year — in perpetuity — exactly as the donor intended. This allows agencies like the Rochelle Illinois Police Department the flexibility to use these dollars where they are needed most.

It is inspiring to see this year’s grant focused on the wellbeing of the men and women who serve and protect our community every day. Thank you to everyone who helps make legacy giving possible through this fund. Your generosity continues making a lasting difference for generations to come.
