This is an incredible example of the bravery and relentlessness Robstown Police Officers must have to keep our community safe. Regardless of self-preservation, Patrol Supervisor D. Martinez and Officer J. Rodriguez immediately went from apprehending a felony offender to lifesaving actions. Both officers willingly made a decision to sacrifice their own safety to ensure the safety of a complete stranger. This is the epitome of selfless service.

Today, we would like to honor the courage and selflessness of both officers. Thanks to them, a young will live to see his family.

Officers Danny Martinez and Joshua Rodriguez ran into flames to save an 18-year-old driver trapped in a burning stolen vehicle after a high-speed pursuit in Robstown. On August 12, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a store clerk at the Family Dollar was assaulted by an unidentified person captured on video.

The Robstown Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying the person responsible. If you know who this person is or have any information that could help, please contact the Robstown Police Department at 361-387-3531.

Today we honor one of Robstown’s finest. This date marks the one-year anniversary of the passing of Lieutenant Albert Stout. His absence has been and continues to be deeply felt by family, friends, our community, and all those who had the honor to serve along side him.

Lt. Stout dedicated his life to serving and protecting others selflessly. His leadership, friendship, and commitment to his community left a lasting impact that will never be forgotten.
Yesterday we gathered alongside the Stout family, friends, community members, and colleagues in remembrance of Lt. Stout.

During this gathering we dedicated a memorial wall in honor of Lt. Stout, so when future officers pass this wall, they can remember the legacy Lt. Stout left behind.

🚔 Operation Slow Down Wrap-Up 🚔

The Robstown Police Department is proud to announce the successful completion of Operation Slow Down, a targeted traffic safety initiative focused on reducing dangerous driving behaviors and improving the safety of our community's roadways.

During the campaign, our officers dedicated 53 hours of high-visibility traffic enforcement and initiated more than 110 traffic stops. Each stop provided an opportunity to educate motorists on safe driving practices while taking enforcement action when violations were observed.

Traffic safety is a shared responsibility. By slowing down, eliminating distractions, and obeying traffic laws, we can all help prevent crashes and save lives.

We thank the community for your continued support as we remain committed to keeping the streets of Robstown safe for everyone.

On July 28, 2026, the Robstown Police Department assisted the United States Marshals Service - Corpus Christi Office, in executing an arrest warrant in the City of Robstown.

During the ex*****on of the warrant, Robstown Police Department Organized Crime Unit (OCU) Detectives observed suspected narcotics in plain view. Based on those observations, detectives obtained and executed a narcotics search warrant for the residence.

As a result of the investigation two individuals were arrested and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, specifically he**in, and Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, specifically co***ne.

Both offenses are First-Degree Felonies. If convicted, each offense is punishable by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for life or for a term of not more than 99 years or less than 5 years.
