At 1802 hours This city of Robins fire department was summoned to a motor vehicle vs motorcycle collision in the 800 block of Mentzer road in Robins. At 1804 our crews were on scene and providing care. At the time of call Lifeguard air ambulance was placed on an in air stand by, but was quickly disregarded by our on scene ALS providers who determined the patient was not critical and was stable. The operator of the motorcycle was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries. The cause of the collision is under investigation by our law enforcement partners.
