A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes and throughout the Car Show. Your time, energy, and dedication helped make the day a success!

Thank you to all of the car show participants who brought out their incredible vehicles and shared their passion with our community.

And congratulations to ALL of our winners!

We also want to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the show, support the event, grab some great food, and browse the wonderful items from our market vendors. And a special shout out to all of our wonderful sponsors. Your support and participation helped make the day so much fun!

And best of all, this event helped the Borough raise money to add to our playground fund, bringing us one step closer to replacing the playground and creating a new, fun space for our children to enjoy.

An Update for Residents:

The Borough is in the process of writing a grant to replace the aging equipment at the playground.

We are hoping to have funding by next spring. Based on the amount we receive, we will replace some or all of the equipment that is currently there.

In the meantime, we are making repairs to the existing equipment and grounds. These repairs will be temporary until funding has been secured to replace what we have.

You may see certain pieces of equipment will be out of service for a day or 2 until the repairs are completed.

We thank you for your cooperation and patience throughout this process.

We look forward to providing the Borough and its children with a wonderful new playground that the community can enjoy for years to come!

Next Saturday 9/5 the Robesonia firefighters will be selling breakfast and lunch all day at the Robesonia car show at the Robesonia ball field. We will be set up in the snack shack starting at 0700 and we’ll be there till the end of the show! Stop on out and support the FD!

The Borough Office now has FREE tickets to attend Conrad Weiser Night at FirstEnergy Stadium on Friday, September 11th!

⚾ Gates Open: 5:00 PM
⚾ Seating Bowl Opens: 6:00 PM
⚾ Game Time: 6:45 PM

There will also be post-game fireworks to enjoy!

Come out for a fun night at the ballpark and cheer on the Reading Phillies!

🚌SHPD’s Back-to-School Traffic Safety Notice to All Citizens, Students & Motorists 🎒🛑

With the new Conrad Weiser school year starting Monday, our roads and neighborhoods will see a significant increase in traffic, school buses, and young pedestrians walking or biking to school.

The South Heidelberg Police Department is urging all motorists, students and community members to stay alert and prioritize safety.

**Important Safety Guidelines for Motorists:**


Obey School Zone Speeds: Strictly adhere to posted school zone speed limits (15 MPH).

Officers will be actively monitoring school zones.🚔

Stop for School Buses: Pennsylvania law requires motorists approaching from all directions to stop at least 10 feet away when red lights are flashing and stop arms are extended. ⚠️Passing a stopped school bus carries severe penalties.⚠️

Yield to Pedestrians: Always stop for children and crossing guards in crosswalks and intersections.

Remember to avoid distracted driving; put phones away!

**Safety Tips for Parents & Students:**

Use Designated Crossings: Always cross at marked crosswalks and obey pedestrian signals.

Look Left, Right, Left: Make direct eye contact with stopped drivers before stepping into the street.

Stay Visible: Wear bright or reflective gear, especially during early morning and late afternoon hours.

Let’s work together to ensure a safe, successful school year for every student in the Conrad Weiser Area School District.
