ADVISOR SPOTLIGHT | LANDON PICKETT

Landon Pickett’s journey with ALEEAA began long before he became an advisor. He started as an Explorer himself, learning, training, and building the foundation that would eventually lead him into a career in law enforcement.

Today, Landon serves as a Deputy with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and continues to give back to the same community that helped shape him. As a member of the ALEEAA Drill Team, he plays an active role in developing discipline, teamwork, confidence, and leadership in Explorers and Cadets from across the Southeast.

More than an instructor, Landon is the kind of role model these programs are built around. He understands what it is like to stand where our Cadets and Explorers are standing today because he once stood there himself.

His journey is proof that these programs can become much more than an extracurricular activity. They can build careers, develop leaders, and inspire the next generation to come back and do the same.

Learning today. Leading tomorrow.

We are still in full swing CADET mode even with school starting back! We have had several new cadets join us and we are super excited for these upcoming recruits!

Tonight, we refreshed on Domestic Violence laws and had some scenario based training!

Congratulations to Cadet Sergeant Chance Abadilla on his well-earned promotion from Cadet Corporal to Cadet Sergeant! 🫡

Chance has been with our program since Day 1, and we have been proud to watch his continued growth in leadership, communication, and professionalism. He continues to step up, take on new responsibilities, and set a great example for his fellow cadets.

We are very proud of Cadet Sergeant Abadilla and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a leader!

Mid-summer doesn’t slow us down. 🫡 Training is still in full swing, and our cadets continue showing up ready to learn, grow, and challenge themselves.

If you’re between 14–18 years old and interested in law enforcement, leadership, and serving your community, come join us! 🤩

PSA: All videos and training scenarios are conducted in a controlled training environment. Cadets do not have access to live weapons. Safety is our highest priority, and every exercise is carefully supervised with appropriate safety measures in place.
